This Week in 4B....

I heard about some fantastic weekends from your children.  I'm glad so many of you enjoyed the nice weather! Here's what we are up to this week!

"In Math we are working on subtracting across zero.  We have a test on Friday on Place Value and we have to study!"-Will
*Study guides will go home tomorrow :)

"In Spelling, we have a test Friday and we chose our own words from a list that are words that describe characters."-Kate

"We are doing personal narratives in Writing and we are working on our topic sentence to hook our readers.  We are also writing a lot about things that happen to us or stories that have happened like over the summer, or our birthdays or any other events that people would want to read about." -Stella

"We need to read different kinds of books like non-fiction and realistic fiction for our 30 Book Challenge in Reading.  We should have about two or three chapter books read so far.  We are learning how to write ideas we think as we are reading and the different characters, vocabulary and any good quotes." -Elizabeth

"We are learning about Rocks and Minerals.  We learned a song that helps us remember the rock cycle." -Destiny
